Attention Majors and Minors Parents
Contact Michelle McDonald at 580-554-9008 to sign up for Town League Championship Tournament concession stand, gate, and hospitality room slots.
We host the first ever Oklahoma Town League State Tournament this week. We need alot of help to pull this off in a fashion that will want teams to keep coming back every year!
As other tournaments do, we will be feeding each team one meal a day through the concession stand. For the coaches we'd like to have a hospitality room. We need parents to bring something for the hospitality room each day. We're trying to get local businesses to donate food such as sandwiches, pizza, etc., but we need things such as chips, dip, side dishes, snacks, paper goods, drinks, etc.
We also need help in the concession stand & keeping gate. To this point we've only been able to keep one gate, but we've had numerous people ask about opening the second gate (the one behind the 1st base dugout). We'd like to open the other gate but can only do this if we have help. The success of this tournament (& the concession stand & gate are a big part of that) will ensure our continuing to host in years to come.
We need parents to sign up to work both the concession stand & gates. We have 4 games Wednesday through Saturday as well as games on Sunday & Monday if necessary. Please check the schedule & contact us with the games you are willing to work. It may be necessary for parents to work more than one shift. Please have your items for the hospitality room & report for work one hour before each game.
$25,000 Drawing
The Woodward Travelers are giving away $25,000.00 cash on August 1st, 2010. All you have to do is to make a $100.00 donation to the Travelers and your name is entered into a drawing. Only 500 tickets will be sold and you don't have to be present to win. Anyone can buy a ticket.
